Join Minnesota Brownfields for an in-person grant writing workshop for Minnesota Communities to learn more about applying for Brownfield Assessment Grant funding.  This grant funding can help a community turn underutilized and contaminated properties into economic development success stories.
Speakers include representatives from the Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, USEPA Region V and Kansas State University Technical Assistance to Brownfields.  The session will also include a discussion of successful Brownfield Assessment Grants secured by Minnesota communities with speakers from the consulting and local government sectors.

Brownfield Assessment Grants have been successful economic development tools for Minnesota communities, including: Albert Lea; Mankato; and St. Cloud.   USEPA has also been a funding partner for projects such as the 2024 ReScape Award Winning project, The Confluence in Hastings, Minnesota.
Come learn more about this economic development tool for your communities!
